Hypnosis/NLP

Hypnosis and NLP go hand in hand during my sessions.  Of course, Hypnosis is simply a state of deep relaxation, in which the client can experience the wonderful workings of the subconscious mind.

Although as a Hypnotist, I am capable of guiding clients into that state, nothing can happen without cooperation between me and my client.  Hypnotists cannot “do” anything “to” a person.  It is teamwork.

I guide you into the state known as trance, which is merely a state of slowed brainwaves that allows you access to what your mind has stored during your lifetime.

To make meaningful changes there requires the participation of both the client and the hypnotist.

Many myths abound about going into the state of trance known as hypnosis.  Some myths would have people believe that it is a state of having your mind controlled.  Some believe it is the same as being unconscious.

Nothing could be further from the truth.  To achieve good and lasting change in the things that you want to achieve requires that you are a willing participant in making that change.

You are always aware of what is happening and you will remember what happened just as well as you would remember a wide awake conversation.  The difference is that you will be relaxed and have your eyes closed for this conversation.

It is easy, and just about anyone who wants to receive help will be able to be successful.

The exercises of NLP are many, and are used during a hypnosis session to make change easier, quicker and even more effective.  NLP has many tools that fit easily in a hypnosis session.  It stands for NeuroLinguistic Programming, but don’t let that name sound daunting.  It is just the use of language to help you make good, lasting change.  You are guided to use those tools to reset your own inner programming.

There are so many ways that hypnosis can help, that I will not even try to list them all.

Some of the most typical topics covered are:  Stopping Smoking, Changing Bad Habits to Good Habits, Releasing Fears and Unhelpful Beliefs, Raising Self-Esteem, Improving Study Skills and Focus, Releasing Connections to Past Events, Pain Management, and so much more.

Medically related topics, such as Pain Management are done with a medical referral.
